Abstract
Catering company Elior held its 2018 Inspirational Dinner last month (April) – raising funds for the mental health campaign and its partner charity, Heads Together.

With colleagues from both Elior and the wider foodservice industry in attendance, guests raised much-needed funds through ticket and raffle sales as well as the silent auction which took place on the night.

The Elior Inspirational Dinner also included a four-course dinner designed by chefs including Tom Kerridge, John Williams and Claire Clark, and cooked by chef apprentices enrolled on the company’s Chef School programme.

Elior UK corporate social responsibility manager, Charlotte Wright, commented: “Mental health is an issue that can affect any of us, at any time.

“Heads Together is doing fantastic work to help tackle stigma and provide life-changing support to people in need. With our help, and with the funds raised at the Elior Inspirational Dinner, Heads Together can continue to support those affected by mental health issues and ensure that people can access help when they need it most.”

Lorraine Heggessey, chief executive of The Royal Foundation (who runs the campaign), added: “Heads Together combines a public awareness-raising campaign to remove the stigma around mental health with innovative programmes, to provide people with the tools they need to support their mental health.

“It is fantastic to have the support of Elior staff, which enables us to continue our work in this vital area - so thank you Elior for all of your support.”
