By September 2015 the company will have started new contracts at 11 education and business clients across East Anglia, the Midlands and the South East of England and whilst working on a full sales pipeline anticipates further client openings before the end of the year.
Shirley Edwards, co founder and director of Edwards & Blake, said: “We’re absolutely passionate about our core values of quality, innovation and providing a bespoke service.
“We also have a strong internal ethos which we call the 4C’s – Customers, Consistency, Continuous Improvement and Colleagues. These values have helped us to grow the business, to secure these new contracts and to make 2015 a landmark year for the company.
“We’ve had a rewarding first six months with our client wins. We can’t wait to start working with our new clients in the remainder of the year and to provide their students and staff with delicious, nutritious, innovative, freshly-cooked food on a daily basis which is what we do best.”
The contract wins include nine new clients in the education sector including the company’s first Further Education college in Essex as well as two new, significant business contracts; Domino Printing Sciences in Cambridge and Duxford-based Hexcel Composites.
These new contracts take the total number of sites at which Edwards & Blake currently operate to over 100.
