Abstract
Two new general managers have been appointed to support company growth at education catering contractors Alliance in Partnership (AiP).
The two general managers; Louise Parkins and Simon Archer, both of whom already worked for AiP as operations managers, have been promoted within the company and started their new posts this month, reporting directly to Paul Rogers, operations director. Mr Rogers said: "These are very important appointments and will enable us to move forward to support the growth expectation in the company going forward, with the company's position being very positive. "AiP are committed to our clients and we believe the introduction of the new roles will add to our ability to drive individual schools forward with healthy eating, promotions and special days, thus increasing the pupils using each facility." Archer is general manager for the East, covering Warwickshire, Wolverhampton, Buckinghamshire and London, meanwhile Parkins covers the West: Birmingham, Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire. AiP supplies fresh daily meals to almost 150 schools across England. The company has seen turnover grow by 90% over the last three years and during the past 12 months over £17 million worth of contracts have been confirmed.
