The site, which recently celebrated a record number of monthly visitors, is set to increase in popularity with businesses operating in the foodservice industry, thanks to the enhancement of a number of sections on the website.
The image library has been expanded to include EBLEX’s entire collection of raw meat images and now includes almost 6,000 beef, lamb and veal photographs.
To ensure visitors to the EBLEX Trade website can find all of the content-rich business tools, EBLEX has also enhanced the navigation system. This enables users to browse through the site’s main categories with ease, highlighting useful content.
Useful resources such as recipe books and publications, cookery demonstration videos and a dedicated sous vide section, are now even easier for chefs and catering managers to find.
Also available on the website is the EBLEX Meat Purchasing Guide. Caterers specify their chosen cut’s unique code to their supplier or catering butcher who will be able to follow the corresponding cutting specification to produce a consistent product each time.
Dick van Leeuwen, business development manager for EBLEX, said: “The EBLEX trade marketing team is committed to helping foodservice businesses improve their operational effectiveness and the resources available on our website have been developed to do just that! Whether looking for new cut ideas or menu development inspiration, the tools we’ve created are there to help.”
EBLEX is the organisation for beef and lamb levy payers in England and is a division of the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB).
