East Cheshire NHS Trust extends partnership with ISS
Abstract
Building on a history that already spans more than two decades, ISS has announced an extended facilities management contract with East Cheshire NHS Trust (ECT) for five more years, with a lifetime value of £33 million and a two-year option to extend.

The partnership will see more than 200 ISS team members providing a wide range of soft FM services including catering across the Trust’s four sites.

The partnership will ensure a joint effort to upgrade technology, infrastructure and assets to make ECT buildings more sustainable in co-ordination with the net zero goals of the Trust and the wider NHS. More than £300,000 in cost saving initiatives will be passed on to ECT through ISS’s vested investment fund.

ISS’s commitment to quality is evident with ECT receiving consistently high auditing assessments, including a 96% overall Food Safety Audit score.

Donna Brown, managing director for healthcare at ISS UK & Ireland, said: “We are thrilled to continue our long-standing relationship with East Cheshire NHS Trust, and are proud to support them in enhancing the health, wellbeing and experience of patients, staff and visitors. This contract extension is a testament to the strong partnership we have built over the last twenty years, and we look forward to working together for many more.”
