The list aims to raise awareness of the value of apprenticeships by showcasing the schemes available at businesses such as Royal Mail and Hilton Worldwide. The final 50 were selected by judges Angela Eagle, MP Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills and Colin Campbell-Austin, Head of Talent and People Development at Telegraph Media Group, among others.
Dine Contract Catering Managing Director Ian Cartwright said: “Developing fresh talent is crucial to the success not only of our company, but to the hospitality industry as a whole, and we’re proud to be recognized among the companies doing their best to drive this forward.”
“We fully welcome the Government’s efforts to drive uptake of apprenticeships and encourage other companies to recognize the benefits that come with making an apprenticeship scheme an integral part of their business.”
The company’s apprenticeships include the opportunity to study for an NVQ in hospitality and to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
