The limited-edition product, along with the deep-fried caramel crème egg, arrives just in time for easter. Deliveroo customers will be receive the crème and caramel crème eggs as a pair from Mother Clucker exclusively on the food delivery app, as of Monday 26 March from 4pm.
More than 200 eggs will be available free with orders from Mother Clucker.
The creation is the product of a ‘will it fry?’ test session in the Mother Clucker kitchens and is prepared using the same spiced flour and buttermilk as their chicken strips.
Joe Groves at Deliveroo said: “I think a lot of people are going to wonder how they go by without these. Once you’ve tried a crème egg deep fried there’s not really anywhere else to go in life, as a species we have surely peaked.”
