Abstract
DBC Foodservice has signed a contract to supply frozen, ambient and chilled products to Favorite Fried Chicken in a deal worth £3 million per year.
Favorite Fried Chicken operates 86 fast-food outlets across the country, the majority of which are in city centres in London and the South. Under the new contract, DBC delivers Favorite Fried Chicken's products, sourced from 21 different suppliers, directly to each outlet in one journey.
As part of the deal, DBC has also assigned a fleet of two multi-temperature vehicles solely to Favorite Fried Chicken, as well as their own telesales representative.
Simon Woodley, director of Favorite Fried Chicken, said: "We had been with our previous supplier for 17 years, so moving our business to DBC was a huge step change for us. By offering a cost-effective solution, DBC has already increased our efficiency dramatically.
