Crussh announces Christmas partnership with The Felix Project
Abstract
Crussh, the healthy food & juice chain, will sell a festive smoothie donating 50p from every sale to London food charity The Felix Project.

As part of the Christmas partnership Crussh employees will volunteer to deliver surplus food from Crussh outlets to those in need over the festive period.

The smoothie will be sold at £4.25 and contains frozen yoghurt, coconut water, blueberries, pineapple, banana and ginger.

Helen Harrison, brand director for Crussh, said: “We are delighted to be supporting the Felix Project as part of our Christmas campaign this year. We’ve been working with the charity for some time on food collections from some of our central London stores, but we wanted to do more!

“The issue of food waste continues to be a problem within our industry and we want to lead by example, helping raise awareness about how surplus food can be used to provide healthy meals and help the most vulnerable in our society.”

Crussh runs a half price sale in all its stores at the end of the day to reduce food waste. Also all food waste at Crussh stores is collected by ReFood and turned into green energy.

Mark Curtin, chief executive of The Felix Project, added: “Generous and responsible businesses like Crussh donate their unsold food to The Felix Project at the end of the day to prevent it becoming waste.

“We deliver this surplus directly to charities in their local community who are working hard to provide food for those most at risk of food poverty.

“We are so grateful for our partnership with Crussh. We are thrilled that they are using their Festive Fixer smoothie to fight food waste and help Londoners in need with The Felix Project this Christmas.”
