Creed invests in new trucks for speciality food division

28th Mar 2012 - 00:00
Abstract
Creed Foodservice has invested in a new dual temperature boxed delivery van for its specialty food division Mise en Place.
The new truck features the new Mise en Place livery introduced in January 2012. The new Izuzu 7.5t truck is needed to service the growth of the specialty food business, which specialises in the supply of fresh local and specialty products to regional restaurants and hotels. The Mise en Place business is growing as regional caterers see the benefits of all their requirements being delivered on one vehicle – this is largest truck in the Mise en Place fleet and reflects the growing orders for the business. Mise en Place has added a further delivery route this year and is already reviewing another to ensure that continued growth is delivered to caterers expectations. Commercial manager Steve Wheeler explained: "The feedback from customers and rivers alike has been fantastic. It has the lasts technology for maximum fuel efficiency and uses our new telematics system to monitor and enhance responsible driver behavior. We're now delivering to a 50-mile radius six days a week and adding new customers all the time."
