Creed Foodservice hosts Food Festival
Abstract
Food wholesaler and catering provider Creed Foodservice welcomed over 250 people to its Summer Food Festival, which was held on Thursday 29th June at its ‘innovation space’ in Cheltenham, The Barn.

The Food Festival saw three marquees house over 100 supplier stands featuring a breadth of produce. The Lodge, at the centre of the festival, featured a café simulation space where the latest food and drink trends for the leisure industry were demonstrated.

Creed’s Kitchen ’72, the street food-style all-in-one catering solution, proved popular with many of the Festival goers who were given the chance to try the latest curry pot concept launched as part of the range – Curried Away.

Chris Creed, managing director at Creed Foodservice, said: “We were delighted to welcome so many customers and suppliers from across the country to the Food Festival, from a range of sectors including hospitality and leisure through to education and care.

“This has been our biggest and best festival to date; not only have we been able to showcase the amazing selection of brands and solutions available to our customers but we’ve been able to demonstrate how these products can work in reality to deliver an exciting catering proposition. Exploring how trends, the current social and financial climate are affecting food and drink choices has been particularly important at this festival, and I believe, really valuable for our customers too. Roll on next year.”

Former rugby England international Jonny Wilkinson joined teammate and Celebrity MasterChef winner Phil Vickery for a Q&A session where they discussed their careers.
