Abstract
Staff at wholesale company Creed Foodservice are preparing to cycle 335 miles in 27 days for local dementia charity, Bloomin’ Dementia.

Having installed exercise bikes at its Derbyshire and Gloucestershire offices, Creed’s tele-sales and free trade teams will embark on the challenge without ‘ever leaving the comfort of their offices.’

The planned route will equate to 335 miles in 27 work days -  the equivalent of cycling Staverton – Ilkeston - High Wycombe - the Creed trade show.

All money raised will go to Nottingham-based charity, Bloomin’ Dementia, which supports people suffering from dementia and their families.

Marketing controller Rhian Hawking scommented: “Team Creed has already started on this mammoth cycle ride and is now on day four (28 August) of the challenge.

“They are currently 55 miles down (over half way to Ilkeston), and the whole company is getting behind them with sponsorship.

“We are encouraging everyone visiting the offices to get on the bikes and spend five minutes cycling and contributing to this fantastic cause in time for our trade show this month.”
