Abstract
The Countess of York, the 1956 Pullman-style carriage situated at the National Railway Museum in York, has announced the return of its Leaves on the Line campaign to celebrate the tradition of afternoon tea.
The team at in-house caterers Levy Restaurants UK will be hosting free tea tasting workshops to highlight the vast array of different types of tea available as part of its afternoon tea packages.
Sam Waseem, assistant catering manager at the Countess of York, said: “We are delighted to be running the Leaves on the Line campaign for a second year. The inaugural campaign was a huge success, with the free tea tasting sessions proving to be particularly popular.
“We can’t wait to celebrate Afternoon Tea Week 2016 by showcasing the fantastic range of teas we have on offer as part of our delicious afternoon tea menu, which can be enjoyed within our unique setting.”
Afternoon Tea Week takes places from August 8th – 14th.
