In a break with tradition, we have decided to spread the release of the shortlists over three days, starting with the first six categories here.
We will follow with another six tomorrow (Friday, March 22nd) and conclude with the announcement of the final batch of awards categories on Monday (March 25th).
The successful nominees can then start to prepare themselves to gather with industry colleagues across public sector and workplace catering on April 25th at the Hilton London Metropole to find out who the winners will be.
In total there are 18 judged categories, and Cost Sector Catering brought together 18 industry experts to help whittle down the 139 entries to a shortlist.
David Foad, editor of Cost Sector Catering, said: “There were some very tough choices made by our judging panel, which is testimony to the quality of this year’s nominations.
“I thank them for the job they have done, and I salute every one of this year’s nominees, regardless of whether they were shortlisted or not.
“They have already shown they stand out in an industry that is blessed with many committed, hard-working people who see their work as a vocation and not just a job.”
