Contractor CH&Co successfully retains ISO and OHS accreditations

Abstract
Following a month of external IMS audits carried out by BM Trada, contract caterer CH&Co has successfully retained all of its ISO and OHS accreditations across all parts of its business.
The accreditations are the following: OHSAS 18001 (Occupational H&S), ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management). CH&Co HR director Alison Gilbert said the auditor had told her that he was very impressed with the operational implementation of CH&Co's management system. She said his report included the following comment: "This is a first class management system and a first class organisation. I appreciate the efforts made by all engaged and recommend continued certification." He had described CH&Co as having an effective management system which is: "Capable of enabling the company to achieve its policy and objectives …" as well as displaying, "Excellent evidence of corporate responsibility and sustainability." Gilbert added: "CH&Co is a company that strives to excel in every direction of its operations and is proud to be ethical and responsible. "This continued certification from OHSAS and ISO is a vindication of the strength of our management team, our systems and our employees. We are delighted to have retained these accreditations and to have been given such a glowing report by the auditor."
