Abstract
Care catering specialist provider Caterplus is celebrating after its track record at Nightingale Hammerson earned it a new £9m, five-year contract with the deal with the Wandsworth, London-based care home complex for older Jewish people.

The caterer will be providing serving breakfast, lunch and dinner for 250 residents and 90 staff across the two homes, which formally linked up earlier this year. Nightingale House is the largest Jewish care home in Europe, while Hammerson House is located nearby on the exclusive Bishops Avenue London.

A new dementia wing was recently opened at Nightingale House by Prince Charles.

Caterplus managing director Paul Robottom said: “I am delighted to announce we have secured a five-year deal with both Hammerson and Nightingale. This is a major retention for the Caterplus Jewish business.

“This agreement also confirms our client’s confidence in Caterplus to deliver high quality Kosher food and service delivery and strengthens our great partnership approach within the wider Jewish community.”
