Abstract
Westbury Street Holdings (WSH), the parent company of catering brands BaxterStorey, benugo, Caterlink and Holroyd Howe, is number 17 in the Sunday Times Top Track 250 of independent, mid-market companies.

It has moved up from number 29, the rank it achieved in 2013, in the annual listing produced by Fast Track showing the leading mid-market private companies based on sales.

The Reading-based catering and hospitality group, which employs 11,840 people, generated £534.8m in revenue to the year ended December 2013. It enjoyed an operating profit of £23.2m on this figure.

Almost 60% of WSH’s growth derives from its workplace catering brand BaxterStorey, whose recent contract gains include BAE Systems and Shell.

The company was started as Wilson Storey by current chairman and chief executive Alastair Storey and Keith Wilson in 2000.
