Contract caterer Sodexo reveals two new appointments

15th Feb 2010 - 00:00
Abstract
Contract caterer Sodexo has appointed Stuart Carter, director of investment and infrastructure, and Kevin Fitzpatrick, director of operational effectiveness, to its UK and Ireland executive team.
Carter will be responsible for further developing Sodexo UK & Ireland's PPP and PFI investment strategy and implementing cross-business segment solutions to meet client infrastructure and investment requirements. He will also have direct accountability for the Defence Training Review (DTR) programme, as well as the UK property estate, and will continue to review all UK investment project proposals. Meanwhile Fitzpatrick will be responsible for sharing best practice, designing and implementing a quality framework, and for sponsoring a number of key initiatives, including labour management, the sales process and the creation of a cross-segment client service centre. Aidan Connolly, chief executive, Sodexo UK & Ireland, said: "The creation of Stuart's role signals the progress we are making in growing our business in new and exciting fields of activity in the design, build and managing arena. It will, for the first time, bring together all our investment and infrastructure work under one roof. "It is now more important then ever that we drive synergies, improve our processes, and focus on key contributors to our success. I am confident that Kevin will bring clarity to these areas and support us in delivering a more effective operating model for the future. I would like to welcome both Stuart and Kevin to the executive team."
