Abstract
Contract caterer Sodexo has again been listed as one of the the UK's leading business to business brands by the Superbrands organisation.
Sodexo was chosen as a Business Superbrand for the second year following a selection process by The Centre for Brand Analysis. The Centre analysed the views of a voluntary Expert Council and over 1,700 business professionals. Of the thousands of brands initially considered only the top 500 are deemed to be Business Superbrands.
Experts and professionals were asked to judge the brands against quality, reliability and distinction.
Sodexo appears in the prestigious Superbrands annual which was launched at the end of February and online. Sodexo chief executive, Aidan Connolly commented: "Today, brand is value. To be recognised as a Business Superbrand is a fantastic achievement for Sodexo. The strongest worldwide brands are those that succeed in becoming known, then admired, then chosen."
Stephen Cheliotis, chairman of the expert council & chief executive officer of The Centre for Brand Analysis, added: "The results of this survey are not only interesting but ultimately useful in understanding the perception the market has of these brands, and therefore their likely potency and financial success. "Whilst being highly rated in this survey is pleasant news for the respective brand owners it is also an indicator of their business's ability to grow through a brand that stakeholders, trust, want and believe in."
