Abstract
Contract caterer Fare of London has reported a 20% rise in year-on-year revenue for the 12 months ending August 2014. The operator’s clients include The Royal College of Physicians, Ironmongers’ Hall and the Honorable Artillery Company (HAC).

Fare of London managing director John Durden said Fare had seen demand for its event sales and marketing service increase across its venue portfolio, driven by an upturn in the economy and a range of new packages launched in 2014.

“We are thrilled to be experiencing such growth, especially so soon after our re-brand 18 months ago.

“Our creative approach to marketing, including our Taste of Fare events and seasonal packages, has no doubt assisted in whetting the appetite of buyers while our great service and great food speaks for itself as always.

“We have always been firm believers in investing in our people and serving the freshest food with traceable provenance and there is little doubt that this philosophy is paying dividends.

“We have a number of new initiatives in the pipeline and are looking forward to an exciting year ahead.”

He added that the firm’s Taste of Fare events, where event organisers are invited to an evening of cooking demonstrations and tasting sessions had also been instrumental in driving new business opportunities through client footfall.

Clive Ostler, general manager – marketing and facilities at the Royal College of Physicians said: “We’re very pleased that Fare of London have had such a great year.

“We’re very proud of the professionalism of the Fare of London staff, with a track record for quality service and incredible food, we’re glad to see that they are enjoying such success.”
