Abstract
A group of 114 Sodexo employees, with 2,300 years of service between them, recently returned from a trip to London in recognition of their 20 years of service to the company.
Recipients enjoyed a day of activities including the awards ceremony which took place on Bateaux London where they were congratulated personally by Aidan Connolly, Sodexo chief executive, and Natalie Bickford, Sodexo HR director, whilst enjoying afternoon tea and a river cruise on the Thames.
They were also treated to a ride on the London Eye before having a celebratory dinner at Madame Tussauds, where a live band played and they were presented with gifts for their service.
There was a special congratulations to Stephen Ledger, a financial controller at HSBC in Beckenham, who has worked at the company for 40 years. His dedication to Sodexo was recognised with a £5,000 holiday of his choice.
Sodexo chief executive Aidan Connolly said: "People are at the heart of Sodexo. Our business relies on tens of thousands of talented individuals who provide our customers and clients with exceptional service. This annual event is a great opportunity to show our appreciation and just how much we value and appreciate all the hard work, dedication, and loyalty these people have shown over the years."
