The Workplace Catering Solution award was presented to Eurest – Compass’ business and industry division - for its new pop-up menu concept; while the Fairtrade prize was awarded to Compass for its new Fairtrade retail range - EATFAIR.
Following a complete brand makeover earlier this year, Eurest impressed the judges with its new pop-up menu programme and its commitment to using customer insight to drive innovation. This programme has been developed to offer value, drive variety, prevent menu fatigue and deliver innovation in the weekly menu.
It features 52 different themed pop-up menu days which each offer a complete meal solution for customers, and sit alongside a range of core concepts that Eurest delivers to its thousands of daily diners.
Jon Siswick, marketing director for Eurest said: “We’ve worked really hard over the last year to rejuvenate our workplace dining offer, creating an exciting range of insight-led concepts, and delivered by a team that are passionate about being part of Eurest. These menus have received great customer feedback and this award is a real testament to all the work we’ve put in and we’re thrilled to receive it.”
Adam O’Connor, head of central marketing, Compass Group UK & Ireland added: “It is great to be recognised for our ongoing support of Fairtrade. This is the fourth time we have won the Fairtrade MIDAS award, showcasing our dedication to supporting farmers, workers and their families in developing countries while also making it as easy as possible for our clients and customers to buy ethically sourced, sustainable food and drink products throughout the year.”
