Noel Mahony has been appointed to the role of chief executive of contract caterer BaxterStorey.
Mahony joined BaxterStorey in 2004 and has played a pivotal role in overseeing the company's success which at the end of March 2011 announced 2010 turnover to be £240m. In recent years he has been responsible for running 65% of BaxterStorey's operation.
Alastair Storey remains as chairman of the caterer and he also continues in his role as chairman and chief executive of BaxterStorey's parent company, Westbury Street Holdings.
Meanwhile John Bennett, who was formerly managing director of BaxterStorey, has moved into a new role as chief operations officer responsible for the development of Westbury Street Holdings' education operations, Holroyd Howe Independent and Caterlink.
Storey explained: "Noel and John have done amazing jobs over recent years in leading our businesses and realigning responsibilities allows me to recognise their outstanding contribution with deserved promotions as well as ensuring our management team is structured to meet the opportunities that lie ahead."
"We've always sought to recruit and retain the industry's most inspired individuals. Across all of the Westbury Street Holdings businesses there is incredible talent and we are absolutely committed to providing each and every one of them with exceptional career development opportunities.
