Abstract
Plant Based World Europe are planning to host a conference & expo on 8-9 April 2021 to offer public sector professionals the opportunity to discover more about using plant-based foods to create healthier and more sustainable meal offerings.

The event, taking place at London’s Business Design Centre, aims to bring together plant-based food producers and manufacturers to showcase their products.

Attendees will be able to visit the Culinary Theatre to sample plant-based foods and gain tips from professional chefs about how to incorporate these products into their public sector menus.

Shireen Kassam, founder and director of Plant Based Health Professionals, said: “As a healthcare professional, I feel strongly that the food we serve in public spaces, including hospitals and schools, should promote a healthy lifestyle and be sustainable for both people and the planet.”

The conference will also feature a programme of keynote speakers discussing content devised for public sector catering professionals. The seminars have been designed to explore the benefits of embracing a plant-based diet throughout public sector.
