Abstract
Concern is growing for a missing chef who was a graduate at Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen restaurant project.
Kevin Boyle has not been seen since 12th October 2011 and was last seen at Purley Railway Station. He graduated from Fifteen back in 2002 and went on to work in some of London's top restaurants including Le Caprice, St John and Smiths of Smithfield, and has prepared food for Prince Charles at Clarence House, and former Prime Minister Tony Blair. Kevin is currently employed at Vinoteca in Farringdon, London. Most recently he was seeking a financial backer for a restaurant he wanted to set up in his home town. In an appeal on the Jamie Oliver website a statement reads: "Over the last few days, the close-knit team at Fifteen, including Jamie, have become concerned about the whereabouts of Kevin Boyle who has not been seen since the middle of last week. "Kevin has always been hugely supportive of apprentices and graduates moving from Fifteen into the catering industry. Kevin attended the most recent Fifteen London graduation back in late September and was on very good form. "If anyone knows the whereabouts of Kevin, please do ask him to get in touch. His family and his many friends are worried about him and simply want to hear that he's fine and that he's coming home." A message of appeal was also broadcast during last night's Crystal Palace and Bristol City football match at Selhurst Park. Kevin is described as 5ft 6ins tall, of stocky build with fair hair and a receding hairline, and he was last seen wearing a white shirt and black trousers. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call police on 020 8649 0258. There is a dedicated web page for Kevin - click here to visit the website.
