An event with music, food and a silent auction was held at the NY-LON Lounge Bar in The O2 Arena on May 17th, the international day against homophobia, transphobia and biphobia.
Managing director of Foodbuy and executive sponsor of the LGBT & Allies Network, Oliver Cock, said: “It was great to celebrate the one year anniversary of our LGBT & Allies Network by raising funds for Terrence Higgins Trust.
“In the past year we have come a long way by providing further support to our LGBT colleagues through the network.
“At Compass we are really passionate about creating an inclusive workforce for all of our people whereby everyone feels they are able to be their true-selves at work.”
Since announcing the Terrence Higgins Trust as its charity partner earlier this year the LGBT & Allies Network has raised over £10,000 for the organisation.
The network was set up in May 2016, as part of its work with LGBT charity Stonewall and professional network OUTstanding, to help develop its workplace strategy and practices to further support LGBT colleagues at work.
