The secret garden area is an important place for staff, visitors and patients to come to give them time and space to reflect and relax.
Karen James, commercial services manager at Leicester Hospital, said: “It’s been a great day, a big thank you to our volunteers for all the hard work and efforts. It’s great to have our partners support us in this way.”
The Cuisine Centre’s Steamplicity team work with the hospital to supply patient meals that are nutritious, delicious and convenient, with the NHS Supply Chain team working to deliver food and drink more widely.
John Harvey, national accounts manager at Steamplicity, commented: “We are always keen to support the communities we operate in and this has been a great way to work with our partner at Leicester to help the local people that we both serve. We have thoroughly enjoyed getting our hands dirty doing gardening and the gardens look absolutely beautiful.”
