The 14 attendees were served steamplicity meals, which uses an ‘innovative’ cooking system to cook fresh and raw ingredients in minutes.
The two course meal included roast turkey served with sage & onion stuffing, pork sausage, roast potatoes, root vegetable mash, brussels sprouts and gravy. Guests were also treated to a box of chocolates.
Greg Harrison, managing director of steamplicity, commented: “This is a cause that is very close to our hearts and the close relationship we have with the Worthing Town Cryers helps us to gather information, feedback and understanding around those living with dementia.
“This work is invaluable and has allowed us to make changes which benefit the service we deliver for those with dementia. We are proud to work side by side with the Worthing Town Cryers and thrilled that we could all come together today to acknowledge the work of these amazing people.”
