Abstract
Compass Group UK & Ireland has joined the LBG Network to help measure the value and impact of its community projects and charity work.
The LBG framework offers a standard for measuring a corporate’s community investment, and helps organisations to consistently benchmark, measure and manage community contributions.
Duncan Gray, head of corporate responsibility at Compass Group UK & Ireland, said: “Historically we’ve only talked about the cash we donate to charity. We’re proud of the money we raise but we can offer even more to society through our talent and expertise. The LBG network enables us to reflect the full contribution our teams make to charitable causes up and down the UK and Ireland.”
This comes as the business also announces it has raised £2 million for Cancer Research UK since 2009.
