Contract catering company Compass Group has partnered with food safety technology solutions company Checkit to ensure high standards of quality and safety are met.
Compass has taken the decision to do away with a paper-based system in favour of Checkit’s automated monitoring technology solution across multiple customer sites.
Christopher Moore, HSE director for B&I, Compass Group, UK and Ireland, said: “The benefits of moving away from the paper-based way of managing food safety were evident from the start. Since introducing Checkit, we have enhanced the quality of service as well as improved compliance to hygiene regulation.”
Checkit’s customers include restaurant chain Inamo, the Ritz and East Surrey Hospital.
