The business has created a roadmap to provide more detail on the strategy including milestones it will aim for. Ball steps into the role having previously been head of business and development for the RA Group.
The company is looking to achieve a reduction in carbon emissions of at least 55% by 2025 and at least 65% across its operations and value chain by 2030 from a 2019 baseline.

Compass Group UK & Ireland announced the launch of a seed investment fund of £1m to support the development of carbon reduction and sustainable food production innovation.
