Fiona Ryland has taken up the position of HR director for Compass Group UK & Ireland following four years of working with Compass and replaces Andrew Richards who has left to pursue opportunities outside of Compass.
Ryland brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the post having been responsible for HR across numerous parts of the business, most recently as HR Director for Compass’ Business and Industry (B&I) division. She has operational experience with retailers including Dixons, Asda and Safeway and prior to joining Compass in 2008, she spent five years in HR operations at Comet.
Caron Naylor has also been appointed as director of Business Excellence for Compass Group UK & Ireland. Naylor joined Compass in 1982 through the Compass Graduate Training Scheme. Over the past 30 years, she has undertaken operational management and business director roles in the B&I sector and functional roles in training, commercial, quality services and sales.
Another addition to the executive team is Carol Hudson, retention director for Compass Group UK & Ireland since June 2011. Hudson has over 30 years of operational and sales experience across the foodservice industry and has worked for Compass for 15 years in both the USA and UK.
