Abstract
A Compass Group UK & Ireland executive chef is celebrating after securing an award at the British Culinary Federation.

Robert Kennedy, executive chef at Sandhurst Military College, was recognised for being a leading chef in culinary competition and awarded the Paul Gould OBE Memorial Trophy at the ceremony last week.

He said: “I am extremely honoured to have been recognised by the British Culinary Foundation and delighted to have won the Paul Gould OBE Memorial Trophy, this is a great achievement for myself and Compass Group UK & Ireland.

“The British Culinary Federation is a great body that acknowledges the talent and passion of those working in the hospitality industry.”

The 11th annual dinner and awards evening was held at the Botanical Gardens, Birmingham on Sunday 18th September and celebrates the wealth of talent throughout the hospitality industry.

This achievement follows on from Kennedy’s recent win of the Competition Chef award at the Craft Guild of Chefs awards ceremony in June.
