Eleven Compass chefs won one gold, six silver and five bronze medals between them in addition to a merit, a certificate of participation and three Best in Class recognitions.
The chef’s mentor Graham Singer, food operations manager at ESS, the group’s division offering services to the defence and government sector, said: “I am extremely proud to have led the team, which included three junior chefs, to a successful result.
“This was a brilliant competition, which allowed our chefs to demonstrate the skills and talent we have at Compass. It is an amazing achievement for our team to have come away with an array of awards.”
The championship, which showcases culinary talent in the Scottish foodservice industry, took place during ScotHot 2017, the food, drink, hospitality and tourism trade show.
