Abstract
Brakes has won a seven year contract which will see its team deliver over £300m worth of catering goods to 5,500 Compass sites across the UK.
Brakes will provide Compass with a single multi-temperature delivery system. This system will enable Compass clients to benefit from a distribution solution delivering fresh, seasonal and locally sourced produce as well as an extensive range from the Brakes Group specialist businesses.
Compass' operational teams will also benefit from "state of the art" online ordering, the latest technology in paperless systems and a one-stop-shop committed to providing "outstanding" levels of service, tailored to individual sector and client needs.

The agreement will commence in 2012.
