The coffee industry becomes one

18th Feb 2008 - 00:00
Abstract
The British Coffee Association (BCA) and The Coffee Trade Federation have agreed to join forces.
Since last month, they have been operating under the title of the British Coffee Association, acting as a single entity. The BCA will represent all the UK coffee trade and industry and will promote issues on growth, preparation, shipment, warehousing, transport, manufacturing and distribution. The emerged company will also continue to service all aspects of the existing members, and aims to increase and broaden membership. David Rogers, chairman BCA, commented: "The unifying of the CTF and BCA organisations represents the starting point of a new and exciting period for all companies and institutions working with coffee in the UK."
