Abstract
Coeliac UK is calling for chefs to take part in its recipe competition to become the 2010 Gluten-free Chef of the Year.
The competition, in association with the Craft Guild of Chefs, wants chefs to design a completely gluten free three course menu for four covers and send it to the organisation. If shortlisted, they will have to recreate the menu in a 90 minute live cook off. Top prize is a work placement alongside Michelin starred chef Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles, plus further prizes of a set of knives, membership to the Craft Guild of Chefs and the chance to develop a signature dish with Sodexo. Celebrity chef Phil Vickery will be judging the competition.
