‘Lunch with Lockie’ will raise funds to support the build of the next Clink training project. The menu will be created exclusively for the event and served by prisoners working and training in the restaurant with members of Lock’s team.
Chris Moore, chief executive of The Clink Charity, said: “James has generously donated all the ingredients for the lunch meaning every penny raised will go straight to The Clink Charity.
“As a social enterprise striving to reduce reoffending rates, it’s important to us that we work with other socially conscious people and organisations so we can work together to improve the lives of those in need of help and support.
“It costs us £1,500 a year to mentor and support a Clink Graduate once they are released from prison and events like this are crucial in helping us to break the cycle of crime and give more prisoners a second chance in life.”
