Clink Charity launches series of celebrity chef events at Brixton
Abstract
The Clink Restaurant at HMP Brixton has announced a series of celebrity chef events for 2015.

The events will feature a three-course-menu designed by world-renowned chefs and cooked by the prisoners in training at the restaurant.

Clink chef ambassador, Antonio Carluccio will host the next event on July 15th serving up a menu of authentic Italian classics.

Chris Moore chief executive of The Clink Charity, said: “Having someone with over 50 years’ experience working in the kitchen is incredible and to have someone with the passion and dedication to improving standards and the skills of chefs is something that we value hugely.

“Antonio’s achievements go without saying and he can offer the prisoners in training something you simply can’t buy – insight, experience and advice.”

The series of chef hosted events provides a unique opportunity for people to enjoy bespoke menus in a unique setting while supporting the ongoing work of The Clink Charity.

The lunch, which includes a fruit cocktail on arrival and an exclusive talk from Antonio Carluccio is £75 per person or a table of eight for only £550.

Giorgio Locatelli, Cyrus Todiwala and Adam Simmonds will also host events throughout the year.

The Clink is a charitable organisation running prisoner training restaurants across the prison estate with the aim to expand their portfolio and reach out to more people in need of a second chance in life.
