Ckbk launches digital cookbook subscription service to the professional market
Abstract
Ckbk has launched a subscription service for chefs and culinary professionals who will benefit from access to the ‘world’s best’ cookbooks online.

Ckbk is a new streaming service that provides digital access to more than 75,000 recipes and 350 cookbooks.

The streaming service has already proven to be a hit with customers after it more than doubled its Kickstarter crowdfunding page. Ckbk officially launched its consumer subscription service in March.

Matthew Cockerill, Ckbk’s co-founder and chief executive, said: “Cookbooks are a vital professional resource — chefs including Marco Pierre White, Alastair Little, Jeremy Lee and Giorgio Locatalli all point to cookbooks as having had a formative influence on their career.

“Ckbk’s collection has been curated with more than 8,000 recommendations from chefs and other food experts, and we are pleased to be able to support the next generation of chefs by making the best and most professionally-relevant cookbooks available online.”

Professional cookbooks are available for the first time online via Ckbk including the works of Escoffier and Saulnier, which offer a definitive take on classical French cuisine.
