Hill said: “It’s a real honour to be appointed to the ACMSF. The committee tackles incredibly interested, complex matters and I look forward to offering my expertise to shape risk assessment advice that is practical for commercial catering environments and upholds best practice.
“I am also relishing the opportunity to learn from the other experts on the committee and continue to broaden my knowledge, which I will share with my colleagues at CH&Co Group.”
The ACMSF, established in 1990, provides the government and the FSA with independent advice on the microbiological safety of food and assesses the risk of microorganisms in food.
CH&Co Group operates a number of catering businesses such as ABsolutely Catering, which provides publicly funded school catering, and Lusso, which provides fine dining and hospitality.
