Chartwells creates value meals at Bournemouth University
Abstract
Bournemouth University catering supplier Chartwells are now offering an array of budget-friendly value meals to cater to the needs of students and staff.

Located at both Lansdowne and Talbot campuses, these options are aimed at providing convenient and nutritious choices for the BU community.

A spokesperson said: “As a University, we commit to promoting plant-based and low-carbon meals as well as minimising food waste in order to reduce our environmental impact. We host a coffee cup tax to encourage the use of reusable coffee cups and have installed water refill points across our campuses to support our staff, students and guests avoid single-use plastic water bottles.”

Visitors to the Bournemouth Gateway Building on Lansdowne Campus can treat themselves to the pasta of the day for just £2.95. Alongside, sausage rolls for £2.50, soup of the day for £3.25 and jacket potatoes from £3.80.

In Fusion Building on Talbot Campus, visitors can help yourself to a made in-house ciabatta for just £3.95, or a toastie for £3.95. They also serve soup and bread for £3.25, jacket potatoes from £3.80 or a pizza for £3.25.
