Abstract
Charlton House has gained a catering contract with Wolters Kluwer (UK) Limited, a leading information services and publishing company.
In a three-year deal worth over £300,000 in annual turnover, the independent caterers took over from the incumbents, Baxter Storey, on 1st June. The contract is across two Wolters Kluwer sites; the UK corporate head quarters in Kingston-upon-Thames in Surrey and in Hinckley, Leicestershire. In all, Charlton House now caters for 740 people across both sites. Services include breakfast, lunch, an all-day coffee and grab'n'go offer, vending and hospitality. Caroline Fry, managing director of Charlton House, said: "We couldn't ask for a better vote of confidence in our food and service standards. As well as selling a realistic and quality offer, our ability and reputation for delivering our promises has made all the difference. Our goal now is to work closely with our new client to provide healthy, great tasting food, made from fresh and sustainable sources." Part of the CH&Co Group, Charlton House is a leading independent caterer with a current annual turnover approaching £30 million. The company employs 823 people nationwide and has 82 staff restaurant contracts within the B&I sector.
