Abstract
Claiming Building Information Modelling (BMI) is a ‘critical issue’ for the foodservice equipment industry, the Catering Equipment Suppliers Association (CESA) is hosting a free Foodservice Industry BIM Information Day.

Held in association with CEDA and the Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI), the event will take place 5 September at the First Choice Group (Cannock), and is open to anyone who works in the industry completely free of charge.

As well as covering the latest developments in BIM parameters for foodservice equipment and issues that manufacturers face in addressing the needs of the design and installation channel, it will also look at what designers and consultants need to meet BIM protocols and latest software developments.

CESA chair Glenn Roberts commented: “The day will be an objective, fact-based, knowledge exchange forum highlighting specific developments in BIM which affect the foodservice equipment industry.

“This event is a must for any foodservice equipment professional working with BIM, or wanting to find out about the latest issues.

“BIM has huge implications for our industry and it is developing fast. This event will bring people the very latest advances, issues and ideas.”
