Abstract
The Catering Equipment Suppliers Association (CESA) appointed four new and three re-elected members to its Council last week (15-16 November.)

Taking place during the company’s annual general meeting conference, managing director of Contacto, Stephen Goodliff; David Parsons, financial director of Classeq; and Stephen Hobbs, managing director of Grande Cuisine were all re-elected.

Joining them are new members: Simon Lohse, managing director of Rational UK Ltd; Paul Anderson, managing director of Meiko UK Ltd; Lawrence Hughes, sales and marketing director at Falcon Foodservice Equipment; and managing director of Hobart UK Ltd, Iain Munro.

Representing over 190 companies who supply, service and maintain all types of commercial catering equipment, the CESA Council “plays an active role in shaping legislation and implementing initiatives within the industry,” chair Glenn Roberts adding: “We welcome these new members and look forward to their input on future CESA projects.

“We had a lot of interest in the Council this year and some very worthy applications. I’d like to congratulate all those who were successful in getting elected, offer commiserations to those who didn’t make the Council this time and urge them to try again next year.

“We will be encouraging all those who stood to get engaged in CESA work, as their skills and experience are key to the development of the association.”
