Abstract
London-based events centre, Central Hall Westminster, unveiled its on-site café yesterday (26 October), after undergoing a £250,000 refurbishment in partnership with its caterer Kudos.

To reflect the building’s 106-year heritage and identity, works included: complete restoration of the original parquet flooring and glass conservatory area; a new separate coffee bar; extension of the main café servery and salad bar; and brand new live cooking stations.

Kudos head chef Earl White has complimented this with a “refreshed and updated” menu for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. As well as new dishes, the live cooking stations allow for greater customer interaction and the chance to tailor meals.

The 165-cover Wesley Café is open to both event professionals and the public alike, so offers power sockets, sofas and tables for groups between 8 and 50, as part of the new look to cater for everyone’s needs.

Managing director of Central Hall Westminster, Paul Southern, commented: “To say we are thrilled with our newly-refurbished café is an understatement. The space has been completely transformed into a modern and versatile facility, suitable for event professionals, concert goers, members of the church, local business professionals and the general public.

“Not only is the new café a welcoming space serving great food, but it’s also ideal for business meetings due to its free Wi-Fi and multiple charging points.”

Emir Gurler has also joined the team in the new role of café supervisor, overseeing the day-to-day running of the venue.
