Centerplate helps BITC celebrate Prince of Wales’ 30 year presidency
Abstract
Centerplate, which provides hospitality and catering services at ACC Liverpool, helped Business In The Community (BITC) mark the 30th anniversary year of HRH The Prince of Wales’ presidency of the network.

During a visit to Liverpool last week, The Prince of Wales met with delegates from the original 1991 'Seeing is Believing' project, BITC’s flagship programme, which led to the foundation of The Homeground Partnership.

As the premier caterer to ACC Liverpool with a commitment to support the local community, Centerplate assisted in organising the reception’s refreshments prepared and chosen from its “Food Moments” menu available at ACC Liverpool’s hospitality events.

The selection incorporated sustainable, celebrated, locally produced and sourced ingredients such as free range eggs, Wirral watercress and Montgomery cheddar.

Samantha Lincoln, Centerplate’s director of catering in the UK, said: “It has been an absolute privilege to be invited to provide the catering for such an auspicious event.

“Through our work with the ACC Liverpool we were able to draw inspiration from the menus we have developed there and tailor them specifically for this occasion to create an exciting selection to showcase the excellence and quality of the produce available locally and connect with other community partners for the special touches that make for a unique and memorable visit in support of a wonderful initiative.”

BITC tackles a wide range of issues that aim to build a fairer society and a more sustainable future. Homeground offers twenty-four hour support to young people aged between sixteen and thirty-five.
