Centerplate has created limited edition circus themed cupcakes to celebrate the arrival of Zippos Summer Circus at the newly re-opened Hastings Pier.
Laura Castro, Centerplate’s UK marketing & communications manager, said: “Our business is all about ‘making it better to be there’ and creating unique experiences for our customers and their visitors.
“We really wanted to get behind the first circus event to be staged since the Pier re-opened in the spring and celebrate this very special occasion, quite literally, by providing the icing on the cake!”
Each of the cupcakes was hand-iced and individually decorated with edible big top animals and characters. The cake recipe included Hastings Pier 1872 pale ale, a beer developed by Centerplate with Sussex brewery Harveys.
