Stephen J Brophy from C&C, Tyron Stephens-Smith from TAG, Amy Hartnett and Alex Sweetlove from CHR and Michael Golightly from Inox Equip were shortlisted from the original entries and after taxing interviews. The five have been invited to attend the Conference Business Day and Gala Awards Dinner as guests of CEDA, with the winner announced during the Awards Ceremony.
Adam Mason, CEDA director general, said: “The CEDA Board agreed to launch this new award to engage more with the next generation of the industry and to reward those who have had a real and significant positive impact on a member’s business. The standard of these five young people was outstanding and they all exceeded the required criteria within their various areas of expertise.
“There will of course only be one winner when the envelope is opened at the conference, but whatever the outcome, they can all take a huge amount from this recognition, as can CEDA, the CEDA members and the wider Industry.”
CEDA, established over 40 years ago, represents almost 100 catering equipment distributors in the UK.
