Abstract
Catering equipment supplier Cedamond celebrated its birthday and four decades in the industry at its awards ceremony yesterday (26 September).

The award show, held at Whittlebury Hall, in Northamptonshire, was part of Cedabond’s Product Awareness and Equipment forum.

The first award was presented to Cedabond accountants Haines Watts, a company which has been with the group since its inception.

Hobart UK collected the next award, another founding member and the first to sign up in 1977.

Mercury Distribution, in the Channel Isles, which joined Cedabond forty years ago as Burbridge Ltd, also picked up an award for its loyalty.

The final award of the evening was presented to commercial kitchen specialist Roland Allen, a founder member and a company which will celebrate sixty years in business in 2018.

Presenting the awards, chairman and executive director of Cedabond, Phil Martin, said: “Tonight, on our 40th anniversary, it gives me great pleasure to personally thank all of you who have played such an important role in the success of Cedabond over the years.

“Without you Cedabond would not have become the force it is today. Your enormous effort and contribution to the business has been a driving force in our achievements and we look forward to many more years working together.”
